About the Role

SEAS Productions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our event operations team. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment, labor, logistics, and vendor coordination are properly managed for successful live event execution.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can effectively manage multiple moving pieces while maintaining strong communication across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and coordinating equipment through internal inventory and subrental vendors
  • Coordinate labor needs, including freelancers and union/non-union crews
  • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders (POs)
  • Track and reconcile POs against vendor invoices
  • Coordinate logistics including shipping, trucking, and equipment movement
  • Support quality control processes to ensure equipment readiness and accuracy
  • Collaborate with project managers and warehouse teams to align on event requirements
  • Monitor timelines and proactively identify potential gaps, issues, or risks
  • Maintain organized records and operational documentation

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and follow-through
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace; strong spreadsheet skills preferred
  • Experience in live events, production, logistics, operations, or related fields preferred
  • Basic familiarity with audiovisual equipment is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

Compensation

$26.00 – $32.00 per hour
